Description ...And yawning for its life.

An old sketch of mine meets Scott Hartman's skeletals and ~clever-screen-name 's insidious influence.

Done by pen tablet on Photoshop 7.0.

Nice imagination on the way he looks. I've never thought about tyrannosaurus being so birdlike. It's creepy. The anatomy is off though. But great concept! It's refreshing to see new ideas like this.

Thanks for the comment and compliment on originality

How is the anatomy off? I'm pretty sure I used up to date references and I did run the image by the person who made them. He found nothing more than a slight lack of muscular mass on the calves

Well, just to me (and I could be completely wrong), it looks like the jaws are opened at an odd angle. Also, the front legs, don't they join up a bit differently with the body? It's hard to see because of the feathering, but I thought they came off the chest a bit more. :] Lol! I'm probably all wrong!

I guess that's what I get for being a lazy bastard and doing copy/paste/transform when I should be drawing the bits in question (except for the jaw where I did that just with the teeth.)

I'll be sure to correct 'em accordingly whenever I get to it. Thanks again

The line art looks cool, the drawing looks correct. Nice fluff, especially on the hands.
Gotta shade or colorize it now.

Thanks Though pertinent critique elsewhere and my desire to detail it further isn't letting this stay in this state.

If you want to do it, go right ahead

Nice lineart.

I personally wouldn't imagine large theropods having that much fluff, but it's probably just personal taste.

Thank you very much for the It seems lineart and odd skeletals is pretty much what everyone's gonna get from me these days: I'm cleaning up shop and there's a lot of backlog in drawings

Mwuahahaha!

Today this drawing, tomorrow the world! I will get a Gondolend movie made, and then feathered tyrannosaurs will become as commonplace as JP-style dromaeosaurs are today! Nothing can stop me! NOTHING!

Well, aside from nobody buying my books and not getting any movie deals.

But other than that, NOTHING!!
