I colored Ambrosian...Now for the reason behind it.
I wanted Ambrosian to have a connection to the current alien Pokemon, Deoxys, so I went with a similar color scheme. It's body is grey/black as a reference to the Greys (classic aliens). Some may also notice that it's colors seem to reference Christmas. Ever hear of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians? Yeah...a reference to one of, if not the, worst movie ever made.
As for it's connection with Deoxys...well, Nintendo was mum on the matter of exactly where the virus that mutated into Deoxys came from.

Yes...a virus that currently has no origin, and given the abilities Deoxys has, it's not very likely to be an earth-based virus.

Would it be that the original idea was seen as ridiculous and called Clinton's Folly, only to have the canal prove widely successful up until around 1918 when it became obsolete when another canal was built?

Her colors are red and green. I layer my colors so they often seem a tad off. That combined with my lack of knowledge over scanner settings can cause difficulties.

I've had Ambrosian's color scheme planned ever since I drew her, as I constantly thought of a movie plot for her, Galout, and it's evos.
As for my coloring skills...yes, I do believe they are somewhat...bad. (Although even I was immensly pleased with my Phoenix.) My gripe with this one is that a bore down to hard with the pencils due to the picture's small size. Kind of a self-inflicted wound, I suppose.
