(I put this in the Anime/Manga category since it was drawn with the Beast Wars II anime in mind rather than the show.)

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has ever had a dream that inspired them to create a character, which is how I came up with this guy.
Warning! Unless you want to hear a long story about a dream I had and this guy's possible explanation, just skip this part, all right?

My dream started out like a player select screen fron a game. Actually, more like the Character Profiles from Soul Calibur, but no need to get exact here, right? It flipped through several Danny Phantom characters, notably Danny and Ember with theme songs for each, and then came to this guy. He appeared to be drawn (I have animated dreams...shut up XD) in the Danny Phatom/Butch Hartman style, but later appeared animated more like the Transformers: Robots in Disguise anime from a few years back. Strangely, his theme song was an alterred version of "Jack's Lament" from TNBC. (My subconscious mind actually came up with lyrics that not only fit the character, but blended perectly with the music...but my conscious self can't even remember anything except that the word "human" was somewhere near the beginning.) In the dream, this guy appeared in three forms; a yellow and black raptor (shown above, in robot mode), a three-headed dragon with a red and black color scheme, and a black, red, and yellow race car. Somehow my brain was apparently able to come up with how he transforms, as I remember the sequences (which played like the Armada anime) and I've been trying to bring the raptor form out in a drawing, but have so far been unable to get his body. Also, it was strange that all his forms incorporated something resembling hair (here, the black spines coming from the back of his head) and pretty much the exact same face.

As for an explanation of his origins, I believe it may have come from the recolored Dinobot toy that was dubbed Grimlock. Grimlock had always been my favorite of the Dinobots, and this my have been my mind bringing the recolor into a light of its own with a new design. I think I'll call him "Grimlock" until I can come up with something better and more fitting. Anyway, the drema gave him a Danny Phantom-esque background, so I'll just skip that one and think of another one. As he currently has no alliance, although he'd more than likely end up a Maximal similar to the Autobot Ultra Magnus from RiD. Meaning that while he is part of the good guys, he proves more of an anti-hero of sorts, choosing to do things his own way and seeing a different meaning of the phrase "Bring to Justice". Once I actually ally him and get his design specs down, I think I'll make a better background for him.
