Something I plan to work on between chapters of my Meaning of Halloween fanfic.Kaiju Transformers
In the distant future, planet Earth is once again caught in a civil war between the inhabitants of planet Cybertron. On one side, a Decepticon faction know as the Predacons, and on the other, the Autobot faction of the Maximals. Crashlanding on Earth, the two groups scan through the planet's history and take on new forms based off of the most powerful creatures of Earth's past; the Daikaiju! Now the Maximals take their stand to not only defeat the forces of Megatron and the Predacons, but save the planet Earth along with their home of Cybertron.
(Note: Any fan of the Godzilla movies can probably guess what monster Optimus Prime (Convoy) has scanned. Anguirus is just the first one I've done. Also, with the exception of Megatron, all of the Transformers take their names from the Daikaiju whose form they've taken.)

Affiliation: Autobot / Maximal
Function: Terriestrial Assault / Defense
Motto: "It doesn't matter if you're outgunned or outmatched as long as you outlast everyone else."
Alternate mode: Daikaiju Anguirus
Bio: After crashlanding on Earth, Optimus Prime (Convoy) choose several beasts from the planet's past that would be powerful enough to stand against Megatron's forces and protect the planet. Optimus' second-in-command, Roadspike, chose the form of the Daikaiju Anguirus, favoring the beast's incredible durability and stamina. After gaining the ancient beast's form, Roadspike also took on the name Anguirus. Anguirus is a seasoned warrior, having fought in more battles than Prime himself, and highly values honor and respect, even for his enemies. In robot mode, Anguirus is armed with a lance and shield, and is second only to Optimus in sheer strength. Back on Cybertron, Anguirus had a fierce bloodfued with a Predacon team known as Rotosaw and Driller, and is ready to continue their battle on Earth.

u should try kiyru (mehcagodzilla 3) as dinobot transmetal 2. or gojira (godzilla) as dinobot.

I can't even remember all the options I had. I know Optimus was Godzilla...I think Kiryu was Ultra Magnus, to go with the old tradition of Magnus being a white Prime recolor. The designs wouldn't have been, but Kiryu did work to create a similar appearance to a white Godzilla recolor. XD

The whole concept is much less confusing when you keep in mind this whole idea was meant to be an alternate universe. Instead of descending from the Autobots and Decepticons, the Maximals are a newly formed task force, and the Predacons are this 'verse's Megatron trying to establish a new order.
This guy here is meant to be a Maximal.

Heh, I had an idea similar to this when I wa sin elementary, of course my Anguirus transformer wasn't half this awesome looking.
Great work with the design, I like how the spiked shell becomes a shield, and the tail becomes that butcher knife sword.

Yep. Kaiju Wars/Transformers is a running thing for me, and once I get down how to draw out the transformations, I plan to do more with it.

Umm you know nothing about Beast Wars do you?
Optimus Prime is not around then infact he been dead for ages, Maximals are infact the future versions of Autobots and Predicons the furture versions of Deceptiocns, also the Autobots won the war so theres now peace bewtween autobts/maximals and deceptiocns/predacons
The beast wars happen because a rouge predacon calling himself Megatron after the original one (no relationship) steals an antenct artifact called the golden discs, it's said it will lead the beholder to lots of energon on a palnet, but encoded on it is a secret massage by G1 megatron to travel back in time and Destory Oprimus Prime if the decpeticons loose the war
Most of Planet Cybetron and the Maximals & Prediacons doesn't even know the Beast Wars are even happening on actient earth expect probily the Tripredacus Contcal

Yeah, I know most of the Transformers canon. I actually have this as a seperate story that takes the Beast Wars traits on, rather than the G1 traits. There's also more than one Optimus Prime in this concept, since it's roots on based more on the Japanese series than the American ones. I distinquish between the Maximal Leader Optimus and the Cybertron/Autobot Leader Optimus by adding the title of First General to the Cybertron Leader's title as a bit of a nod to G1 Prime.
Hope that didn't sound harsh. I'm not good at conveying emotion through typing. I've wasted many an hour on Wikipedia researching random information on the various Transformers stories, and I included both factions because many comics, if memory serves right, depicted that both factions have actually been side-by-side in some media.
Glad to meet some as deep into the Beast Wars world as you seem to be.

well ok then I guess
well yes many TF leaders in asia are call Convoy (prime) however it just means 'Prime'
for example
Rodimus Convoy=Rodimus Prime
Lio Convoy=Leo Prime (the US name for him)
also rumor has it the asiai thought the BW Optimus Primal was infact Optimus Prime so they called him Convoy, but now they call him Beast Convoy so we don't get confused with Convoy (Optimus Prime)

They did, actually, because the clips from Beast Wars and Beast Wars II all have Primal going as simply Convoy, but after Robot Masters, he was dubbed Beast Convoy.
And changing Convoy to Prime doesn't always work, since Optimus will remain Optimus Prime despite names like Grand Convoy and Galaxy Convoy.

Yep! I've actually been working on one for the Big G. It's been taking a lot of thought to come up with something that wouldn't be a remold of Beast Wars Megatron.
