Si quieres subir una versión privada utiliza Sta.sh en vez de Submit Art
Las imágenes del Sta.sh se guardan en una versión privada de DeviantArt. Luego puedes decidir si quieres hacerlas públicas o no. Yo lo utilizo mucho para entregar los encargos privados en HD.

Pues no sé si puedes utilizar una imagen del Stash como imagen de perfil, pero casi seguro que debe poderse. Deviantart no hace tan mal las cosas xD
