Hope it helps you get started! I like to consider it as a guideline more then a rule book since fantasy/stylized artists are ment to bend the rules

Hey cool tutorial.
What do you think of those swords?
I made them using vector tools, quite some time before the movies came to theaters, and quite some time before I learned anything about real swords, but it seems to me, your rules apply to them, don't they?

looks good to me i like to prefer my 'rules' as guidelines since as a fantasy concept artist it is my job to push and bend the 'rules' I made the tutorial as a jumping off point for people I might do more for axes and pole arms and stuff too.
