Description Whoo! Well, here it is. The last "planned" illustration from my fanfic story The Broken Line!

I think it kinda shows, too. I put a lot of effort into the details on Spyro and Nexus in this picture. Not so much on the background, but that's just how it is...

So, yeah, here's the two brothers having an epic staring contest.

Also, first time EVER drawing Spyro! (I know, right? Shocking.)

On a more serious note, though, I have to say that I REALLY like how the heashot of Nexus on the right turned out. His trademark smirk just turned out EXACTLY as I had hoped it would! I'm also really happy with how Dark Spyro turned out in the bottom there.

This is just why I love your work, you put so much effort into small details. Got to give extra credit for Nexus's smirk, it describes him perfectly. That arrogant look on his snout, is just the way I have imagined him all the time while reading your story. Your fanfics AND artwork are both amazing. Looking forward to a new chapter of The Snare of Darkness.

How do you explain Spyro having a twin in your story if his egg was never seen in at the Dragon Temple?

Because it was never there. That's all I'll say for now though. Their full back-story will be explained before too much longer, don't worry.

Very good picture! Just reminds me of that scene, I have started re-reading again.
True, Nexus's grin has turned out very well and in the bottom scene he looks lost of words.

Got a picture in my head for Nexus now, didn't read that part thoroughly enough. Didn't know he had those golden markings over his body.

This picture is amazing. Seriously. It's most definitely your best yet. I just love the mood of it, and Dark Spyro looks so amazingly amazing. The headshots are brilliant. I love the emotion in their eyes. No idea what else to say, but thumbs up, dude! This is brilliant.

Thanks so much! Glad you like it, because I really enjoyed making it.

As for time, I didn't really keep track. I worked on it off and on for about a week or so, so total time working on it might be something around...5 or 6 hours? Likely more. I'm getting faster with the tablet, though.

I really can't find another word instead of awesome (kidding). This is a legendary scene done with legendary detail from a legendary author and artist. I was wondering how you got your Dark Spyro avatar on fanfiction and this completely answers it. xD Ok, I can't stand it. The colouring and shading of this picture is legendary. The rain looks awesome (xD) and Nexus looks...kinda scary. Awesome work on Dark Spyro, he looks legendary. This is now my favourite picture of all of yours.
