Description
This is a sculpt of Godzilla I did in 2003. It's about 13 inches tall and made of Sculpey Premo over a wire and foil armature and painted with acrylic paints.I entered it in the G-Fest XII (a Godzilla convention held yearly in Chicago) model competition in July 2005 and I received a blue ribbon in the scratchbuilt division.

I... wow, that's just... wow. I can't believe how beautifully done that sculpt is, and I really love how you based it off your own style of Godzilla. The scale pattern, you shape of Godzilla, they look identical to your paintings (or whatever they were).
Truly... a favorite.

Thank you! I try to put my own little flair into the monsters. The illustrations are usually digital illustrations done in Photoshop but the Godzilla portrait is about half colored pencil and half digital.

beautiful! i love the detail you put into the scales, and the spines are great - you used the g-2000 jagged spine design, but used the classic black&metallic blue colors... VERY cool!

The top left picture, when I really look at it, Gojira looks like he is doing a hula dance. Heh.
Beautiful detail. This certainly is a lovely sculpt of the King of Monsters. I like how accurately you make these sculptures, it makes them come to life, indeed.

lol Godzilla does like to show off his dance skillz from time to time and shake what his mama gave him.
Thanks for the compliments!

Wow, that's very impressive. The spiky bits on the back are particularly cool in both shape and color.
