Description
This is kinda a quick one, it's a micron ink drawing scanned in and colored in photoshop. I saw the leaked images for the Godzilla 2016 movie (Toho Japan) and while it's not really my kinda design, I want to reserve judgement until I actually see the movie or at least footage of the creature.

At any rate I was in the mood to sketch a Godzilla, if you're familiar with Godzilla and his different iterations over the years you can probably see the different influences of them in this design. Of course the most obvious one is G2000/KiryuGoji with the spines and general appearance, but there's also some influence of Heisei, Legendary, Godzillasaurus and the coloring is a bit G98, although more similar to the toys than the movie in that respect.
