In my research I found that the Invaders ship was loosely based on the 'Venusian Scout Ships' of George Adamski (1950s Contactee Stuff) I also thought that their ships probably couldn't make the long trip from their homeworld by themselves so I've given them a Mothership, loosely based on the the one observed by George Adamski...Models by Myself

Agreed about the probable low range of the Invaders' saucers. Unless their original spore forms were unusually long lived, they would've needed some sort of base ship somewhere. Good concept

I was always interested in the similarity between the two. In fact, I was going to convert one of the Aurora/Monogram Invaders Saucers into an Adamski Saucer. Before I did, I found that someone had made a Nice kit of the Adamski Saucer.That company had plans to do other 'classic' UFO kits. Sadly, to the best of my knowledge, the Adamksi Saucer was the only kit they produced.
