...Man. This page means a lot to me. Just finishing it seemed to bring a lot of things full circle for me - especially since my life's been so crazy and hard to pin down lately. An unclear future...but Dragontry, in all of it, has been a guiding star in what I need to do. And this page kind of represents a lot of that to me. The feeling of knowing what I need to do...and that is write a book about Dragontry. This page is also reminiscent of that very first page of NuzRooke for me. At that time, I had no idea the impact that NuzRooke would have on my life and my career, but looking back I just marvel at it. And I feel that Dragontry will be the same.
So you go, Ted. I'll be right behind you.

Yeahhh...my younger brother helps me with reference photos for Ted, and he just moved out. So the anatomy of this one got a little...exaggerated. XD

I think with the angle his body's at there, it would look more natural with his head turned so that his face is between 1/2 and 3/4 visible

True, but I needed his face full frontal so as to be making eye contact with the reader. And there just wasn't a pleasing angle for his body to be, considering what I needed him doing, so I fudged it a little.

you're a pretty good artist and it's drawn well! But do consider that there are people who are more bothered with anatomy than they will consider reader attention. (not to say anatomy exaggeration is not bad, but it needs to be believable to be effective)
It would be better next time, if you really feel like the angle of his body isn't pleasing enough, have him do a different pose that's more anatomically accurate; like his full body facing the same angle as his head as he spreads his arms out while holding the door handle or something. Body language is important too; the reader will notice even more from Ted's body language that he's facing the reader.
But yeah, good comic! I'm enjoying it so far. Keep drawing!
