Over the summer, Arthur and I tried team penning. Or it wasn't penning but it was separating by order of numbers. This was the first time Arthur had ever been this close to cows. Luckily, they were small. I think that made him more comfortable. He wasn't scared. In fact, he was curious and very interested in this game. We did okay as a cutter, but horrible as a gate lol. Never playing the gate again! xD But seeing my horse, just a leisure trail rider, inspired to do something really made me want to give him something to do. So who knows, maybe I'll borrow some of my neighbors' cows and have a play day from time to time.

Yay! Buckskin paints are so pretty! My horse's name is Arthur and my cousin also has one named Sonny. It's real fun when we go on trail rides and people think out horses are related. They really don't look alike though lol Do you have a picture up of Bleu? I would love to see!

Oh my gosh yes! xD I have a big guy at 15.6 hands or somewhere around there but that opening feels like it's a mile long xD I told them, "My horse isn't long enough for this!" They all got a kick out of that!! Lol!!

Me 'n several other boarders at my barn all went together, and one of them had a 17 hand Shire. We all joked that all he had to do was stand there.

Aw cute! One of my favorite trails to ride actually has long horns that you share a pasture with. It's really awesome and Arthur is like, "Whoa! What are those? Can I go sniff one?" It's freakin' adorable! xD Do you have cows around where Bella stays? Like in a near by pasture? (Our neighbors raise cattle)

not where she can see them, but she's used to them because of the rescue farm we got her from, we used to ride with cows all the time. so yeah. no, we haven't rode with long horns yet, I want to now! LOL
