personally i like how you made the background and how it pops with the stars and shadows
and the kagamine twins are very well done .
i love the way you drew the eyes but i feel like that the lines are a bit thick (not meant as a bad thing or something )
and the lines are a bit choppy in some places like in their hands or feet
the shading is excellent , but i the back ground kinda distracts me
but overal i like this piece since you maybe put lot of time and effort in creating one
you should really make more of these with very nice background

I just read the critique above, so I hope you don't mind if I put in my opinion here. I just wanted to say two things: one is that that is a GREAT background, I feel like it adds character to the two people in it. The second, though, is that the shadows being cast from the characters and onto the background are kind of in conflict with the lighting and shading used on the characters. The subtle shading on their skin and clothes suggests a soft, warm, natural light, whereas the drop shadow used on the background suggest a much stronger, harsher light more like studio lighting. I think if the drop shadows could be a lighter color, maybe with a small amount of blurring, it would really pull this piece together more.

Overall, I love the colors and the energy that they produce, to go along with their energetic poses. ^_^
