Ahem, so Taskmasters are the Salted Wounds answer to Mistresses of Repentance. They are veteran battle sisters responsible for the safety, training, and discipline of new recruits and salvagers into the Order. Kind of like a den mother-dominatrix. Don't think about it too hard. Or do, whatever. it's their job to oversee Salvagers both on Nautilus and wherever else in the galaxy the Order is conducting operations, and ensure they get the most out of their training while also staying alive. Loss of limb is acceptable – you know how much the Cult Mechanicus loves replacing those ugly flesh bits with glorious bionics.

They are also responsible for day-to-day micromanagement within the Salted Wounds' armed forces, and as intermediaries between the sisters and the Tribunes of the Adeptus Mechanicus, though this doesn't really need to be represented on the tabletop, so in that case they simply play support to the Salvagers. Disciplining the rookies and making sure they are fit for service in the Order is their primary responsibility, and Taskmasters are vital for ensuring that the next generation of battle sisters are suitable replacements for the current batch of soldiers.
