Idea shown: In another world, another timeline, while Omni man wasn't a saint by heroe's standards nor he was the most harden....he realize something was off with the "Splinter leagues" a term used to describe justice league-type heroes...normally while he was originally planning to kill his teammates, comparing them to the Alliance , would hint at a more heroic side Omni-man claimed to use as a facade...a side that would took too far when trying to stop a fight between the Alliance's Red and her superman teammate Justice America, and one that whose deaths would lead to the creation of a certain darker team....the Seven....a cataylst for future events.

Omni-Man: Red Ten Secrets

Yeah because as much The Guardians don't have a lot of screen time compared to the Seven and such....they do have more proper designs that couldn't go to waste...furthermore, it does soften the blow of Omni-man "reforming" down the line especially again he didn't kill his teammates, but instead a more....darker justice league, namely the Alliance(or as I like to say Red Ten)...normally again due to few of their members darker secrets if you didn't check the link....there's a reason why they're in a murder mystery to say the least. And would more or less pave the way for the Seven in a sense(since well spoilers it does imply to work on Boys logic per say despite not being related)
