My Monster Girl[s] of the Month for April....Ehhh... description later!
Right-o. We have here, from the right; a familiar face to those who watch me/have been to my gallery, likely. Miss Qimaph. However, as this is my MGotM entry, we have a new face. Faces. This is a bit of a bonus, I guess.
In the centre, Mallory the manticore/sphinx. Yep, more mythologically based species. Now, she's rather big as you may see, the other girls are of average height. Sphinxes are larger sized beings in their world (a bit of a play off the sphinx monuments... but of course they aren't that big.
... and she's actually more based on the Greek version as opposed to Egyptian.) The manticore aspect to her design is actually a bit hidden here... in that lovely mass of tail plume lies a rather nasty stinger, akin to the infamous poison of the mythological beast. That lovely smile is also a characteristic, her teeth being sharp as scalpels and with multiple rows. She's rather nice, though. Doesn't really act how she looks. ...She's seriously lacking in self-awareness.And the other on the left... another chimera!
Yep. Went for a mix of zebra and leopard just to make that patterning rather... interesting to figure out. I ended up thinking a "chocolate drizzle" sort of look might help blend them better. I'm... somewhat happy with it....I wanted to draw her to show there are some rather major differences between individual members of the chimera species. Makes it rather fun. Myup.
Thanks to ~robocrat , I've decided their names are Tyler (for the zebra head) and Mira (for the leopard.)
Yeah, got around to writing this on the 31st and I still got lazy. Hah.
Eye-spot markings were from a suggestion by ~Tallon-1 , though.

Okay, I honestly can't remember if I've said anything about these beautiful girls or not...so I guess if I have this will be another comment to add to the collections XD
Anyway, with your chimera female that holds both the zebra and leopard/cheetah mix, you've really pulled off showcasing both species. The patterns flow well together and the eyes~! OMG! I love the eyes! The mix of both brown (or hazel) and the bright blue~! You've really out done yourself with the little female! 
Overall, I honestly can say I adore this image! But again, I have probably commented on this before...I just honestly can't remember n_n;

You've posted on the WIP shots, and now on the completed image, too. n_n
The new chimera was a bit challenging... the mix of spots and zebra stripes took a lot more tweaking than I usually do. Thank goodness I did this digitally. The eyes were a lot of fun, though. I adore the combination of orange/brown and blue. I kind of find eyes to be my favourite part of colouring digitally. c:
Qimaph indeed doesn't know how to react to being held like that. They aren't really used to the other girl (named Mallory)'s way of behaving.

Well it might have been a challenge but it was well worth it! I have to agree with you, in fact eyes are probably one of my other favorite things to draw and color; rather the coloring is done digitally or traditionally :3

This is a complex drawing! So many heads! I really like the expression of the sheep-girl's head all the way on the right, it's my favorite. The purple hair and amber eyes look gorgeous together! I also like how you drew the wings, the feathers are again so detailed.

It's funny, I really dread colouring feathers sometimes, but it feels worth it to me right now, though I'm thinking of trying out a different method to try to make them a bit more... realistic.

there is so much its almost hard to tell you how awesome I find everything
as always I love the feathers, hair and fur. I love the zebra mane and the purple hair flowing over the lionesses foot.
hands and feet are beautiiful as always and your patterns and colors are such yummy eye candy.
The fact they all have a dif expression, *leopard face is my fav* the glare of the lioness, the surprise in the zebra, the shy timid leopard, the shock of the lamb.
