it has been a constant for so long, in some way I have gotten used to it--no, not used to it, I doubt I ever could... resigned? Accepting? Something to that effect.
But it isn't the fault of the stitching, the stitching is nothing compared to the wounds themselves. It feels as if... that's all I am, just wounds, even pieces. Like I was made to be like this, in some twisted way....
*raises right arm, begins to tug at protruding sinews, the initial hardened and leathery flesh being quickly pulled away from the surface to reveal fresh red beneath* I cannot heal, yet I have the means to keep mending myself time and again. Fortunate, since I feel flesh straining against each suture however I move... always to break or unravel.
*short, sharp laugh, begins to weave the sanguine strands between her fingers*
But that is no purpose, certainly. I know I wasn't always like this, not at all... I used to be... *falls silent, evidently deep in thought*

...It's damn difficult to sew properly without being able to see what you're doing, you know. I miss that.

Would I like to be whole...?
...I... would, of course. My eyes back, my... *she releases the sinews from her grasp, allowing them to hang loosely from the wound in her arm*
...Do you mean just physically, though?

I suppose it doesn't matter, either way. Nothing is left whole, mind, body, we are just pieces left to scatter in the wind. Screa--*chuckles weakly, shakes head*

Aaand, a long rambling answer from Ol' Raggy, due to my ask journal . Yeah, she likes when people are around to listen, and... has some difficulty preventing herself from being tangential.
I know I said I'd get Cyra's answers up first, but... Ragdoll! I felt like drawing her. Sorry.
Cyra's answers will be way more pointed and, well, answer-like. Actually, the whole format of these things will vary by character and situation.
