Duddle 59.I've been trying to draw random bits and bobs half of the day and not really been enjoying a huge amount of success. It's just one of those days, I guess, although I seem to have been in stuck something of a funk since that blasted Ria picture...
Anyway, I need to do something involving a small dragon (among other things) at some point, and I thought it would be fun to try drawing one of those. It looks silly. Back to the drawing board, literally XD

You're probably right. I think it drained my patience a bit, so I'm not giving things enough of a chance (or enough time and effort) to win me over :3

and you're likely more critical of yourself now, as part of the process of doing more finished works, whereas when you started out you kept your expectations low and didn't seem to judge as much during the process.
Unfortunately, it's a part of getting back into the groove, so you just have to work with it and try to relax yourself.
Plus, you've been trying a lot of things that are generally more accomplished and thought out pictures, so that shows your imagination is getting into gear, and the imagination is a harsh mistress. >x>
