Description
Also as promised, here is my method of doing a sky. Personally I like to make mine dream-like or fantasy-like. Please note that I did this once before but it was too much to take in and I had forgotten something, so I simplified it to make it a bit easier to understand. I hope you will not be confused by this tutorial and have fun creating your own sky.Related content

It's been a while since I've worked with CS2, but I do remember I had both layers selected.

hmmm normally you could us clouds first... try filling the new layer then adding the cloud filter. Also might help to reread the tutorial, I know sometimes people misread or understand what I put and that is generally my fault.

polenykes In reply to DreamCrystalArt [2007-11-26 05:32:22 +0000 UTC]
nope I'm pretty sure i got it right.
made a workspace, filled 1st layer with a gradient, created two new layers, selected one of the layers and clicked filter>render>....option for cloud is null.
also have tried filling it.
i changed the colour mode in the workspace aswell and i round some other options were unlocked in RGB but not the clouds so which workspace color do you use?

ok i worked on it, was when you create a workspace, needed to be 8 bit rather than 16.
thanks for the tutorial.

DreamCrystalArt In reply to Angeldogdemongirl [2006-04-19 03:02:45 +0000 UTC]
this is what you need to do:
background layer: Have the sky color
Next 2 layers (new ones): the clouds
Layers after that: your scenery (grass, trees, rocks, etc.)
I suggest doing the layers for the scenery stuff first then on layers below those lyers, do the clouds
