Description
huge file ._.Anyway, asked me to simplify this tutorial [link]
Hopefully I did a good job and making it simpler... plus it will help those who use adobe elements
This tutorial is a remake, I claim no part to be my own idea.. really.

Yeah I know. I have to find round about ways to use tutorials that are made for CS (2/3/4) and convert them to Elements 5 XD;

yea same, all my photomanips are done in photoshop LE which is like I think the 3rd version of it. and you tutorial came in VERY handy! I am working with it actually right now. I will let you know when I am done! again thanks so much!

I noticed another step you have forgotten. When you make the clouds, you need to let people know that you need to go back to B&W for your bg/fg colors, otherwise people will make blue clouds instead of white and black clouds. If I notice anymore missing steps as I'm doing this, I will gladly let you know

Most people should be able to tell by the image that I used black and white. The other thing I was aiming for was people to be creative with this XD

One question in step 1. When you fill your page with the blues, how do we do that? Gradient? You kinda failed to put what to do there
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
DreamCrystalArt In reply to Rocky-Fuller [2009-10-27 12:25:12 +0000 UTC]
Ah yes, with the Gradient tool. The tutorial I used to make this one failed to do that and often times I forget some of the ones who use my tutorials are new to photoshop

Rocky-Fuller In reply to DreamCrystalArt [2009-10-27 22:26:39 +0000 UTC]
Oh I'm not a newbie to photoshop. I knew it was that but others won't so you'd want to add it somewhere

Sometimes I forget things, and sometime i refer back to the tutorial I used to make this or to other tutorials that I've used some of the same tools on :3

Finally! A tutorial that uses my photoshop elements 5 XD Its hard to find any for it, gah! Thanks!

DreamCrystalArt In reply to Rocky-Fuller [2009-10-22 02:47:47 +0000 UTC]
Yeah it is hard to find any because some people think it's outdated when it's just as good as any other photoshop XD

Woahhh~~ That's so very awesome! You did an excellent job with that, and I had no clue you could do something like that with the layers...I should really play around with it more often XD
Oh? Another Element's user? That's awesome! I use Adobe Elements 2 for all of my stuff... >O>; It's getting a little old, though. So I think I'll have to replay it eventually--is Elements 5 good to work with? It seems to have a few features/patterns 2 doesn't.

DreamCrystalArt In reply to Sakura-Phoenix [2009-02-19 06:36:39 +0000 UTC]
elements 5 is good to work with in my opinion.. CS users might say something different. Right now I think Elements 6 or 7 can be bought at walmart or another place that sells computer stuff.. like Office Depot or something. I think I got mine from Wal-Mart XD might of been OD but I've been using it for a while now.. I think over a year.. there is some problems I do get with it though.. Like for some reason it kept replacing my 'basic' brushes.. so this last time I re-installed (because it got some of the tools corrupted in the last hurricane we had here, bro cut off the generator before I was able to fully close the program) I ended up copying the basic brushes just in case they got saved over XD
and yes it does have a few things the maybe elements 2 doesn't have.

((Awwww...So sad. Hate when that happens )) Well it sounds like a pretty good program then! A lot cheaper than the CS and the like--I can't afford things like that xox; And actually, I dont' know what I'd do with all those options. I'm not actually going to maniuplate any photos--I can get most of what I want done with the program that I have (and probably more, I'm just not skilled enough to handle it).
But should something ever happen, I'll definitely consider a higher elements package :3

DreamCrystalArt In reply to Sakura-Phoenix [2009-02-19 13:26:17 +0000 UTC]
I would consider it. Though the older programs make you learn different things to get around the CS oriented tutorials XD
