that background took me like a week, no joke *_* but I'm done just in time for Chester's birthday which is tomorrooowalso I think that this song goes well with it :>
just a moment between Oli and Chestah~
they often lie like this: Oli can't really 'sit' cause he has no butt so he just leans on Chester and they lay there and talk about gay stuff for hours
the only downside is that Oli has to get back in the water every so often to keep his skin moist.

After a moment, Chester jerked back. His face was scrunched up. "D-did you just eat?"
"Oh... yeah. Sorry."
"Uh, don't be. That's just... a very strong flavour." He stuck his tongue out and wiped it with his finger. He made a glahhhh sound.
"I'll try to remember to not eat before you come over." Oliver looked both embarrassed and amused.
"Um, do you want a mint or something? I'm sorry, I just can't stand the taste of raw fish."
Oliver laughed. "If you have one."

This piece is absolutely beautiful, everything about it was so perfectly thought out and well executed it leaves me almost speechess, the key word being "almost" e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="
The anatomy of a centaur is something a lot of people tend to get wrong, horses and humans are certainly some of the hardest creatures to draw, but it seems you mastered that skill, the same could be said for his lover, the way his back arches and seems to embrace the warmth of his equine friend is perfect.
The way the water shifts from a deep forest-green to a fiery orange seemed a bit off, I'd use a stronger gradient, but that's just my personal preference.
The design of the characters fits perfectly well with the scene, specially the centaur, their blonde hair and brown coat seem to compliment the scenery.
The reflection of the sun and the shading of the characters was extremely well done and possibly my second favorite element of the piece.
The warm color scheme really did it for me, and I'm not ashamed to say it's my favorite part! The vibrant and eye-catching oranges mixed with the elegant and subtle greens truly makes this pleasing to look at.

Your characters and designs were a big influence on my story and inspired me to keep writing
(I don't plan on uploading it, since it's really personal, but I do have characters who share similarities with Oli and Chester, their names are Ross and Erwyn)
