I'm still putting these all into the next sketch collection buT I feel they deserve to be seen on their own too loleveryone's had poor pool floaty experiences okay well centaurs have it WORSE
(there are things that help centaurs float but they're more things that go under the belly with big floaties on either side and in front of the abdomen, less "comfortably float on back" things usually :'D)

The real problem would be that the centaur body, being more narrow than tall (belly to spine), has a high center of gravity that would cause it to capsize; so the floats would have to sort of wrap around, allowing the body to ride lower in the water.
