AAAAAAAAAA it is D O N E
one of the longer taking arts I've done in kind of,,, ever,, due to the complexity (multiple characters, foreshortening, props, very busy background) and therefore Very High Thought Energy required to make everything work together and all the refs needed and stuff, but I think it is now good!! I don't have a proper time estimate this time besides maybe uhhh, somewhere in the 6-8 hour range, probably, rather than the 3 of my ych's, on and off between commissions for a long while haha

anyway 'tis a trade with Seyumei !! I've appreciated their very dynamic, expressive, and fun art and boys for yearsss, so finally gettin to draw 'em, as a trade, is very exciting! :3c
(also they're probably part of the inspiration to start using cel-shading again starting a year or two ago lol, which is both very fun and way quicker)
so that's my zodiac on the left (first art ft. his new arm tattoooo! ) and their sky on the right, and then their keith and many of my own bebs as cameos down below - ended up needing more characters than expected to fill out the foreground so I just kinda yoinked and edited the back views from a bunch of my own refs xD
joel's a professional photographer so he normally does the pics for zodiac's concerts but he gets to just be part of the crowd and enjoy the show this time haha

the title is one of my fav all time low songs, both cause it's kind of fitting the "what if these fellows met" thing and cause I imagine they mighttt sound a bit like them?
(zodiac's usual band sound is like a cross between them and foo fighters, maybe a bit of billy talent and arctic monkeys in there too)
I've wanted art of him performing like this basically since I first met him 6 years ago, and also pay proper homage to that feel amazing concerts give (like seeing panic! at the disco 2 years ago now <333), and this basically ended up exactly as I wanted *u*

PS this time the song I played on repeat the whole time was "the sky is a neighbourhood" by the foo fighters, also rather zodiac-y
