took the title from a Tumblr post ahahthis took me... one helluva long time. Like seriously. I started this months ago. It was just supposed to be a lil fun thing then each panel took AT LEAST FIVE HOURS
please don't let perfectionists touch memes ever
(the gap is why the first two might look a bit rougher than the rest, as they're a bit older. I had also forgot Oli's back and arm fins and had to add them in after without the original layers eAe)
I also rarely remember his whiskers oops
so there are a few things that might need tweaking but this took a frIGGIN LONG TIME, it was tons of fun and I'm pleased with it B)
PS Oliver's supposed to look a bit Japanese but I don't think I conveyed that right
alsO Chester has some native in him but he dun look it

my bro pointed out that they sort of are in sequence, in order numbers 1 2 3 6 4 7 5 8 haha
aand I don't think he does (I drew them in once but I'm thinking not) cause he's a mammal. I have a whole list of reasons behind this: mermaids have boobs which is the very definition of 'mammal' (having mammary glands and feeding ze bebes with milk); they have noses and lungs therefore because mammals would need huuuuge gills to get enough oxygen out of water; and fish tails are sideways like a shark whereas merpeeps move vertically like a whale, so is he had them at all they'd be mostly backup for if he goes too deep and can't make it up before dying.
