it's him!! my son!! always so therapeutic to draawwww~ which, I guess all my own bebs are, haha

first art I'm postin here that was done on my newfangled ipad pro! :𝔻
I may despise apple with a passion as well as the fact that I can't bloody customize anything on the device, but gosh damn if it isn't the best darn mobile drawing device out there so far... it's SO light and procreate is like, astounding, man 8-8 plus I got mine used from a nice local art guy, so they didn't even get any money off me >:3c

time to rant about random tech and life things lol, as one does in dA descriptions:

procreate lacks certain features that would make this style of art easier (like gradients, a selection brush, or the ability to use fill tool taking multiple layers into account) but gosh dang the traditional brushes feel so realistic, it automatically records speedpaints (which I might share sometime), and is just super intuitive all around~
I also got myself a portable windows/wacom cintiq companion tablet a while ago with my tax returns, but it's more like a big laptop, is much heavier to lug around, and a little less built for mobile-usage, so ipad is more the thing to drop into my bag on any day out of the house for impromptu arts.

I do take both to my backshifts at work however, where I have 4+ hours to do jack-all because barely anyone visits a convenience store between 1-5am xD
my shifts run 11pm-7am the next morning which is HELLA nice because I finally have a job that plays nice with my weird sleep disorder, and I only have to serve people for like two hours total, get my chores done within another 2, and then the rest is basically "do whatever I want to pass the time" time, which has so far included: lining traditional arts to finish at home sometime, playing my switch, reading DnD stuff and planning my characters, sleeping (I'm serious I often just snooze for a half hour straight ghghgh), doodling in sai on my cintiq, drawing on my ipad... it's a pretty great set-up lol, and is also the first job I've had for longer than three months (since june of last year) and o also I got robbed a few weeks ago at gunpoint lmfaoo, that's a whole other story I guess I could tell sometime

... also I bought myself an oculus quest and am having the TIME of my life holy shit this technology is the fucking coolest, I could rant about that for ages too @ -@
everyone already knows about 360 vids and beat saber and vrchat but there's so many little things to enjoy too like just downloading little tech demos for free - an hour ago I just laid down in a field with a deer nearby and watched the stars for a while~
if any of y'all dig vrchat drop me a note, my main server has a ton of people who play if you wanna come hanggg
