I wanted to do something involving PH for Trotcon, so here it is. Might even do another, we'll see. This, besides that truly horrible drawing of Pinkie, is my very first attempt at using a tablet. It's very stylized, so try not to hold that against me, I just love the blur tool so much...This is from the beginning of Chapter 34: Birthday when Blackjack is hallucinating or dead or both and sees... well, a lot of things.

Edit: Okay, they said to the queue last night, so I wasn't terribly surprised, but HOLY CRAP, YOU USED IT AS THE THUMBNAIL?! I was at work when someone first told me... I proceeded to bounce around like Twilight shouting "Yesyesyesyesyes!!" for a few minutes. Also read a bunch of the comments on the draw friends, you guys are awesome. Thank you so much to Seth, Cereal, Phoe, PK, and all the other lovely ponies over at EqD!!

I actually love Van Gogh. As I mentioned to somepony else, there's an actual ponified Starry Night in my gallery, though it's a painting and not a digital image.

I think the most impacting part of that whole scene was at the very start of it. With those two little words at the end of the previous chapter.

What happens to all your fallout characters when they die? Reload an old save? Or... this?

I'm with you, though. I really expected Somber to pull something weird with it actually being a save file. I'm really glad she didn't, I really prefer thinking of it as its own world. Then again, maybe this is where game sprites go in between deaths?

Oddly enough it reminds me of van Gogh's "Starry Night"... and that's a good thing, by the way.

Pretty intentional. Van Gogh is one of my biggest influences. You should actually take a look at "In the Beginning" on here, it was modeled to actually BE a pony version of Starry Night.

Hahaha, shipping for that thing is really expensive. Besides, I've grown so attached to it. It's probably the one thing I'll never sell. I have considered donating it to the traveling pony museum, though, since they'll be at Trotcon with me in July.
