Hey,I decided to make a picture from start to finish (sketch and all) in Adobe Illustrator CS, and since I was the only subject I could think of at the time, I came up with a cartoony looking self portrait. I was first going to display the head alone, but I liked how it looked as a creative process, thus I took the liberty to display it as such, and name it accordingly.

Yeah, but that's not usually how I work. It's truthfully easier to sketch by hand and scan in the sketch, or to sketch in Photoshop (or any painting program you prefer) and then open it up in Illustrator. I generally sketch by hand.

Yeah, me neither. I will say Slidell High is one of the worst schools I had ever been to (and Iv'e been to a LOT of schools), so Katrina was a bit of a blessing to me (dont take that the wrong way, please).
Did you get the Katie Mii in your Mii parade? Just curious.

Trust me, the other side of the Katrina coin for me was great. (Missing school for all that time? Give me some more of that.)
And yes, I did. In Mii Parade there's one of yours (I forget the name) with a blue hat and shirt, and one of my friend's..I'm not quite sure how Mii Parade works yet, but I think it displays some (dunno how it decides that) of the Miis that aren't traded, are set to mingle, and haven't been traded to you.
I have upwards of 25 miis, so check out Mii Parade and tell me what you see.

no i just don't have that kind of programs on my computer to fix my art that much.. but guess what! i visited my college i'm MOST likely going to go to and it was awsome! and they are going to provied a BRAN NEW mac, with my schooling how cool is that!??? Not only will i have two computers BUT A MAC and a pc! i'm sooo freaking excited it's not even funny!

I love it when talented artists show the process of how their amazing art is made. I just envy your unique and visually pleasing CG style. It's like a mix of cell style shading, with shading in the shading...? *realizes he has no idea what he's talking about* Really though, it's candy for my eyes. Like eye candy...?

It's indeed very important to develop an individual style. I'm still in the process, but I'd say I'm pretty far along. In any case, I'm glad you like it!
