Thanks for the critique, I appreciate it a lot. The left side of the tree looks to have lost detail and contrast from dodging but I didn't dodge anywhere on this image, I'm guessing its from the light as it bends through the image, I used f/11 here so could that be it?

Honestly, I have no idea what might have caused it. My technical know how is slim at best, I'm afraid.

This is a lovely shot, perfect balance between the foreground and the sky, lovely exposed and the reflection adding another point to it.
The tree is a lovely addition, lonely, abandoned the strength and "punishment" of nature to it's own elements.
I like the way you framed it, at first I though this composition with the tree more to the left and using the branches as a nice lead inside the frame; only to look again and realize that you would be loosing that lovely reflection of it, which equally (and probably) better leads the eye more softly inside the frame on to the landing point of the branch, the contrast of it allows more time spent inside the frame and connects lovely the foreground with the sky.

Though yes, it is a bit cliche, this one amung others of it's kind does stand out, when you pay attention.
The clouds, as well as the water, seem to funnel your eyes in towards the one lone solidity in the picture. I loved it! ^_^

It's a nice capture! The branch in the middle although it breaks the photography rules gives another very special feeling to the photo. And I think that is because of the reflections it offers.
The long exposure is also very nicely handled and the colours are well saturated
Why don't you try adding a frame? I think it would make an even better difference

Thanks, I use to add frames to my photos but then I got over doing them and I personally prefer them without a frame unless it's getting sold as a print then a frame usually looks nicer
