Here it is. (: My first fanart for one of Godzilla series monsters.It is Godzilla's mechanical doppelganger, The Millennium Mechagodzilla.
Using base screenshot from the movie. ( Without his back-gunners )
Reason, why I did wanted do this wasn't his cool looking. ( Well.. kinda <3 )
Real reason was.. Getting guess? His nickname. <3 <3 <3
Yes. They call MechaGodzilla 3 as.. "Kiryu". :3
Just look at Kiryu's face and say his name, "Kiryu". Do it make you wanna hug him? <3 <3 <3
Does he looks like cute a husky with collar. *chuckle*
Well it looks cute in the movie. So don't waste your time on my a pic. Go to see the movie.

Oh, and by the way.. In Japanese, the word "Kiryu" can be translated as "Metal Dragon". Fitting as it is a mechanical counterpart of Godzilla, a dragon like monster.

I like Kiryu's design the best because he actually resembles Godzilla more than the other two, who have those stubby but distracting tails. Also, Kiryu is more balanced for both up close combat and long range weapons, whereas the other two mainly relied on their missles and lasers. Point goes to Kiryu!

And Kiryu was build by humans. ( which could be better than aliens build MechaGodzilla to rule the world, which they could just come down and blow shit up with them ships. ) Make Kiryu feel more 'hero' of story, since it was more powerful to fight Godzilla.

Yeah, the being built by humans part does make more sense, as does the background for King Ghidorah in GMK.

Kiryu's codename was given by Kojima as a joke for Kojima saw the sceen when Kiryu's right eye got blew off the same way as Naked Snake.

Awesome! this came out really great! it looks really cool. his design and colors came out amazingly. you redrew him very very well. phenomenal job
Surprisingly looking at his face and saying his name really does make you want to hug him.....strange.... but i would rather hug his doppelganger Godzilla. why? because hes way cooler....that and hes hotter (temperature) too lol.
