I finally found the category for memes! Haha.

This is my influence map. I thought it looked like a lot of fun and might spark motivation for me to draw.

You would think that growing up watching cartoons would make me better at drawing expressions. DX

1. Nickelodeon - Oh man. When Nick was GOOD, it was good. Now it's not as much fun, but back in the day, there were soooo many good shows on here that influenced me to draw.

2. Speed Racer - This was my favorite cartoon as a kid. I think I was drawn to Speed's androgyny and his racing.

3. Sailor Moon - Obviously! I put Haruka and Michiru as the picture since they're my favorite. I didn't realize this until maybe 5 minutes ago, but Dhan and Julie are totally based off them! (Minus the sailor soldiers part).

4. Labradors - Dogs in general really. I really like drawing different breeds and showing their differences.

5. Calvin & Hobbes - Oh man. I would wake up early every sunday to make sure my dad didn't throw out the comics so I could read Calvin and Hobbes!

6. Disney - OBVIOUSLY!

7. is amazing. I remember her being one of the first reasons I started to draw different dog breeds and join deviantart.

8. Miyazaki - How could I NOT put this! I think Kiki's Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky must've been my whole seventh grade.

9. Pokemon - This show was the reason I got up at 9am every Saturday morning for three years.

10. Black Beauty - This and National Velvet were the beginning of my horse phase. I went through this phase when I was turning 8 and it lasted until I was 13. I was OBSESSED with horses!

11. Superman - My first and still favorite superhero. He's significantly better than Batman and I can argue this with you sooo much. I really liked to pretend to be him and that's when I began to draw men...sort of.

12. Oliver and Company - I watched this movie A LOT. This is also the reason I liked Billy Joel. I really liked the different dog breeds and how Oliver was drawn! That part where Penny makes Oliver a sundae ALWAYS looks good to me!
