Must've been a very large sum. Weren't the days before caller ID magical?I have a feeling this isn't the last time Otto's going to hear whatever that offer was.
I chose my dialogue and expressions carefully so that I wouldn't have to resort to the unrealistic cliche of having Otto repeat everything the person on the other line is saying. I guess I could've drawn a speech balloon coming out of the phone so you could actually "hear" what's being said as an alternate to this, but I think the mystery of the person on the other line is better this way.
Drawing the expressions was fun. We go from irritation, to surprise, to incredulousness, to sarcasm.

Kamina, from the anime Gurren Lagann. His catchphrase is "who do you think I am?!" (It's become something of a meme.) So he knows exactly how Otto feels!
