Description Jupiter's hearing is probably as good as Blue's. :0

But are those rumors true? And if so, how could this marriage end happily?

Well, at least Jupiter is realizing he might have been wrong... He said it was a happy marriage though, so I hope it all works out.

Awww, and ooh D:
Well this certainly explains Jupiter's kindness towards children even more ._. Whoever marries him has first to accept that they won't have any, unless adopted.
Barbara seems very kind... It's strange to think that she would have said yes to Jupiter if she loved the other man, yet she could have said yes to her father's demand, considering he already "gave" her to Jupiter and a failed contract was really something those times ._. (also, you must have brought other man into this for something, you always seem to have a point in whatever you add xD). I will be waiting for the next page

And he got lucky in this case with her already having a daughter.

See, why couldn't I have read a good 1800s romance like this in high school, rather thanΒ crap like Pride and Prejudice?

1800s writing in general is too elaborate for my tastes, but I will say this: I really like Jane Austen's stories as movies- especially Sense and Sensibility (the 1995 one).

It's got Alan Rickman, Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson, so it's win win!

Should've read Jane Eyre.

I'll take anything so long as it doesn't drag like Pride and Prejudice or The Scarlet Letter. I like me some intricate narratives, like The Count of Monte Cristo.

Oh, well, if you want intricate, read Les Miserables. But most novels from that time period tended to be slow and somewhat rambling - it was the style at the time. Jane Eyre remains one of my favorite novels, though - I still re-read it about once a year. And while Austen was indeed writing what amounted to soap opera romances, she did slip in a little biting wit here and there. I also read Emma, just to see how closely the movie "Clueless" actually followed it. (Pretty darn close, it turns out.)

Oh, I've been dying to read Les Mis. It's my favorite musical, and from what I hear the book takes it many levels further.

Oh yes. For starters, Gavroche's parents? The Thenardiers.

I heard about that bit! Makes me like them even less. (As hilarious as they are in the play.Β I hear they're downright despicable in the book, to the point their theatrical counterparts look like saints.)

Yeah, in the musical they're more comedic. In the book they're pretty much slime.

I go with just rumors. When she looks at him, you can just see the love in her eyes.
Genuine in my POV!
