Part of my continuing quest to create an original-looking dragon. In this sketch, I tried several concepts:1. Based on a pterosaur

5. Unintentionally came out looking like the American Godzilla
6 & 7. Based on paintings from the Spectrum series

sweet sketches!.. Maybe they're looking too dinosaur like, try to added some extreme details, like mammals or insect...

Thanks! You're right about them looking too dinosaurish here, several of them were based on dinosaurs. More of a methodological experiment here than final designs.

Thanks! Though I have to admit, the original design was not my own. It's based on a painting from a fantasy art book I have.
