Description Friday night brought some intense storms to the Southeast and many other parts of the country. =LeashaHooker and I decided to get out and about to see if we could get fortunate enough to come home with some lightning shots. Hope you enjoy! You should flip over to her page and have a look at what she came home with.

Dazzling sight, colours are really eye catching too, haven`t seen a hood fork lighting storm in years over here.
Great job Dennis, what the hell is up with that shutter speed though>>> looks like co-ordinates to the North Pole

Yeah I downloaded a trial version of some noise reduction software and it throws it all off. Sillyness! I can tell you this was shot at 2.8 at 8 seconds. ISO 200 on manual focus. Just a smidge past infinity seemed to be the key. Thank you so much Jon! She has gotten me hooked on this stuff now. Cannot believe I had never tried it before with all the storms we get.

Great shot, Dennis Really nice cloud crawlers and the tailights just adds to the intensity of the moment. Even got a cloud to ground strike hiding behind that tree. Man, I gotta get there--I'm sooo going through withdrawl We won't get storms with lightning until late May!

Already been to Leasha's submission--it's fantastic! Hope you two got more! (I'm a lightning junkie, man and I'm ready for my next fix! )
