I had some editorial help but yeah, I just never saw a self-contained tutorial on making them from scratch to saving the set.
I'm glad people are finding it useful though.
Thanks.

Yeah, get off yer arse and break some pens open.
thanks, chief.
I don't think I'd know where to start with putting a walkthrough together... anyway, I doubt there's any great mysteries about hows I makes me pics.

good idea. I did some scribbles with a thin black marker, inverted them and with a glow on them, it's a great way to reproduce those long-shutter speed light trails that some photographers do.

how cool is that .. appreciate you care to share your knowledge with others .. thx a lot. btw .. do you use a drawing board (u know that input device thing ) .. can u suggest any good but affordable ones?

Duffzilla In reply to kerian [2006-06-02 11:37:23 +0000 UTC]
I do, but unfortunately I got mine for cheaper than it's normal price so I don't know a whole lot about different tablets.
WACOM are definately the world-leader with graphics tablets and their 'Graphire' ones are their budget range, I hear they're pretty good but I'm not certain because I've never used them.

I use a WACOM Bamboo: Pen and it cost me about £50. I think its brilliant. Very easy to set up and once you get used to it, it's quite easy to use as well. If you are looking for a cheap one, that's what I would recommend.

very nice tutorial
ctrl+a works for selecting all as well (for the deleting brushes)

Really? Does that work for v.7?
I know those kind of windows things have been improved in CS and CS2 but 7 is the most popular version so I just want to make sure that shortcut works.

Oh my god! Ive allways deleted all of the brushes one by one.
That shortcut is just what I needed
I feel like such an idiot for not trying that....
I knew it worked in windows....
Thanx!! the rest is also really useful for improving my brush-quality
