yeah, but when a watercolour painting works out, usually the most beautiful thing about it is the patterns in the water made visible by the pigment...not so much the "artistry"
Still, though, fun stuff ..we can't all be Joseph Alleman.

I love these simple watercolor birds. It's hard to use restraint with watercolor, but so worth it.
