Description
The Elf Wizard Laurhylee, holding the fabled sword Fragarach, unleashes the power of the Gods upon Iuz the Evil and traitor Archmage Kermin Mindbender, both struggling to ascend to godhood by possessing the Codex of Infinite Planes and completing the ritual using the raw powers of Tharizdun, the imprisoned chaos God. In the process Kermin will be destroyed and Iuz will become hopelessly insane. This scene takes place just after Aftermath and is a bit complicated but this is how it has been done. What kind of level do the characters have to be for this kind of adventure? My PnP days are long behind me and never got past lvl 10ish, so I only have experience with the CRPG versions of DnD at those levels, and the stories are much less complicated there.

Those characters exist since the beginning of the 21th century...so it's quite a looooog time playing. For the final climax of the campaign, they were between 17th and 20th level and very complicated to handle. Laurhyllee, on this picture is level 20 Rogue/Wizard.
