Description

The epilogue to the Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign and one of my first renders using only Iray and Dazstudio...

Erethwen took a long, deep breath and sighed with her eyes closed.  The fresh breath of the summer breeze on her face brought her the scents of the mountain as well as the buzzing of insects and the gurgling of a nearby spring.
Alika, the young priestess of Desna had decided to accompany her rather than stay in Korvosa to enjoy the honours. Initially they had considered going to Absalom by sea, but when the time came to leave, by mutual agreement they had opted for the land route. It would obviously be much longer and more dangerous, but so much more exciting.
"Is everything all right, my friend? "Alika asked.
"If all goes well? I think so, Alika. I haven't felt this peaceful in so long. »
"As am I, Melitsë. Just like me," Alika replied with a broad smile.
"Melitsë? I am glad you chose this term, Alika, because it is also the one I would use to talk about you. »
They remained for a while still contemplating the landscape from their position at the top of the mountains.
"What is this land below? It looks so beautiful," Alika asked.
"That's where we're going, Melitsë. Nirmathas is its name. Its people are proud of their freedom and independence. We will be welcomed there. Then, after crossing Lake Encarthan, we will cross Druma to Andoran before embarking for Absalom. It is a long journey. »
"With you and Desna by my side, I look forward to this adventure with confidence and optimism. »
"You're beginning to talk like an elf, do you know that? »
"I don't know much, Erethwen, except that I'm happy right now. »
"So if you're happy, Alika, I'm too. »

Thank you.

Iray? surpringsly easy to obtain a good result with a simple preset and a a little tweaking. The rendering engine is pretty good , but the software is not...

I had this pic in mind for some time and I thought to use some landscape I've already made like this one

Return from Scarwall Fortress

But when I saw this asset I switched my mind. In fact it was amazingly easy to do this... after importing the V4 from poser of course...

Très belle image!

Tu n'as pas trop galéré avec Daz Studio ?

dungeonmeister In reply to Mekheke [2020-04-29 15:54:52 +0000 UTC]

I like most in your art, that girls wearing normal and logic clothes. Not bikini armor like in japanise mno, but practical equipment what could be use in fight. That make ewents when they take them off, more special and intresting, like shower in the rain.
I must read your stories for beginning, when I finaly find some time.
