The Crimson Fleet was in rout and every one of Kyalani's friends was still alive, even though they had all received numerous injuries. Alysin rushed to Anariel to give her a fiery embrace. Fira seemed to assess whether she had broken bones. Uthred and Liam were coming back together. Liam looked both bewildered and angry at himself. Kyalani helped Lavinia to her feet. The young woman gave her a shy smile.
"We survived, Kyalani. The women of Farshore have shown they can fight, thanks to you. »
