Description
After inviting them to sit down, Lady Heidmarch had explained the purpose of their visit and the mission she wanted to entrust to them. A woman named Natalya Vancaskerkin had disappeared. This woman had an item in her possession that was of great interest to Lady Heidmarch, who wanted to find this Natalya and find out what happened to the object in question. It also turned out that the girl had close links with a gang of Sczarni, criminals whose activities were notorious enough to have largely contributed to the racial stereotype of Varisians, considered by most people to be untrustworthy thieves.
The next day, the four young fellows travelled across the city to Washers' Row, a filthy place where the sails of ships were washed with foul-smelling chemicals. They arrived at the place where their next contact was supposed to be, the Amazing Zograthy, a fortune-teller, after his name. The place was some sort of squalid camp consisting of a series of dilapidated fairground stands and carts. Carandas squeezed her pouch a little tighter at the sight of the patibular faces that haunted the place. When they entered Zograthy's tent, it didn't take long for Mirixiana to realize that the man with the bald head and the hallucinated look was drugged. While Carandas was conversing with the man, Lyrio discouraged the onlookers from approaching. After shedding a few dozen gold coins, they left the camp without lingering with a few more pieces of information in their possession, but which only confirmed the fact that Natalya and the Tower, Girls, the gang to which she belonged, were indeed in Underbridge, the town worst district, located under the Irespan bridge.

Après les avoir invités à s'asseoir, Lady Heidmarch leur avait expliqué le but de leur visite et la mission qu'elle voulait leur confier. Une femme du nom de Natalya Vancaskerkin avait disparu. Cette femme avait en sa possession un objet qui présentait un grand intérêt pour Lady Heidmarch, qui souhaitait retrouver cette Natalya et savoir ce qu'il était advenu de l'objet en question. Ils arrivèrent à l'endroit où leur prochain contact était censé se trouver, l'étonnant Zograthy, un voyant, d'après son nom. L'endroit était une sorte de campement sordide composé d'une série de stands de foire et de charrettes délabrées. Carandas serra un peu plus sa besace à la vue des visages patibulaires qui hantaient l'endroit.
