Thank you. I had a flash of inspiration while writing this for 4chan's pony fans, and wrote this part of the story on paper instead of just typing it. Mixed media often has a powerful effect.

The stories I linked were written in the halcyon days before the Great Purge, before everything went... wrong. They're full of heart and sorrow and joy, the right way. They're the stories that shaped the Derpy/Dinky relationship.
