After seeing *KP-ShadowSquirrel 's I Have No Snout And I Must SCREAM! , I edited a tiny bit of *Anima-dos 's Equine Anatomy chart to examine how her skull was altered by Trixie.

The result is not pretty.

In addition to removing Pinkie's lower jaw, she also removed the front part of her upper jaw. It didn't appear on the show that her tongue remained, nor did her nostrils.

Pinkie would have been forced to breathe through the Eustachian tubes (ears) and lacrimal ducts (eyes), and even then, the air volume would be pretty low. Sustained activity such as the one-pony-band at the end would have taxed her oxygenation to its limit. A day's breathing in this manner would have likely caused fungal or bacterial infections in these ducts and tubes (assuming Equestria has such things), and a week's would have been really bad.

For sustenance, Pinkie would require a nutritive IV, or possibly the careful teleportation of foods into her stomach or what remained of her mouth. Either way, she wouldn't be able to taste anything if her tongue did not remain.

The hospital was not able to fix her snout, during the time Ponyville was captive. Yet Twilight did. It might be scarier to ponder the resolution of this conundrum. Can any amputee OCs justifiably remain, what with Twilight's ability to completely repair ear-nose-throat physiology? Or did Twilight simply undelete the snout? Was it a Failsafe spell, the kind that Discord short-circuited in the S2 opener? Pinkie 4th-walled herself to complain to the show creators, and Twilight followed her. Can Twilight use the 4th-wall Pinkie power now that she has duplicated its use? And where in Equestria did the arrow/icon/trash can symbology come from in the first place?
