a What If drawing..everyone is doing it ans thought i would try one..and this is mine..Simba died instead of Mufasa. As the tree simba was holding onto where snaped in two and mufasa dived in to save Simba..but he didnt manage to grab him in time, and before he could do anything it was too late for simba...
oh btw the reason mufasa is looking away, its because he havent found simba yet

Oh man when Mufasa finds Simba's body he better brace himself, and when Scar finds him he would definitely say:
Scar: (fake shock) Mufasa....you didn't save him!?
Mufasa: (panic) I-I tried to save him, I dived in to grab him but the branch snapped, I did I everything I could, oh why! Why did this happen!?
Scar: Oh brother, of course you did your best. However, most efforts are in vain...and the prince, the future king, is dead....and if you have kept a better eye on him he wouldn't have tried to look for you and maybe this could of been avoided.
Mufasa:......(devastated)
Scar: (gasps) But since he is dead, your linage has come to an end! And what would Sarabi think?
Mufasa: (horrified) Sarabi! Oh no! When she finds out she will be devastated!
Scar: It will get worse than that, brother, she will think you were responsible for Simba's death because you failed to save him....and I highly doubt that after losing her child like this she will want another cub again...and might never want another one with you after failing to save Simba. And when the pride and all of the Pridelands find out....
Mufasa: (shocked) They-they will all think of me as a murderer, no matter how much I'll try to explain, everyone believe I was responsible!.....I don't deserve to be a husband to Sarabi for failing our son....I don't deserve to be a father....I don't even deserve to be king, because if I couldn't save my son.....I will eventually fail my kingdom!
Scar: You must leave now, brother. You have no place here anymore...you will be a wanted fugitive by everyone, including your wife for Simba's death.
Mufasa: (looks at Scar, then at Simba and back at Scar)
Scar: I promise you the Pridelands will be in good paws...now run, run away and never return!
Mufasa: (hesitates at first but then leaves)
Scar: (stares out and the Hyena's come from behind).....Kill him.

Kopa isn't fanmade, he was simbas son in the canon books they made after the first movie. Since the creators of the second movie were different then the ones of the first, they changed kopas gender.

Kopa's not canon either. He's a semi canon character. The events that happened in those books were confirmed to be unofficial. The people at Disney never actually written and illustrated those books. They gave some guys permission to use their name and characters, so technically Kopa is a fanfiction character.
