a What If drawing..everyone is doing it ans thought i would try one..and this is mine..Simba died instead of Mufasa. As the tree simba was holding onto where snaped in two and mufasa dived in to save Simba..but he didnt manage to grab him in time, and before he could do anything it was too late for simba...
oh btw the reason mufasa is looking away, its because he havent found simba yet

I really like this piece, it would have been a whole other story if Simba had died instead. However, I do think it looks a lil odd with Mufasa looking away like that in the background. I think the image would have more impact if he looked at Simba.

This is so sad...I don't even think I can imagine how distraught Mufasa would be...I suppose the rest of the Pridelanders did think he died, so we know how they would feel...but Mufasa would be completely broken
