a What If drawing..everyone is doing it ans thought i would try one..and this is mine..Simba died instead of Mufasa. As the tree simba was holding onto where snaped in two and mufasa dived in to save Simba..but he didnt manage to grab him in time, and before he could do anything it was too late for simba...
oh btw the reason mufasa is looking away, its because he havent found simba yet

Technically she would be Mufasa's daughter, and the new princess....but I suppose Scar could use that to his advantage as well...hmm...

Amazing looks like a screen shot from the movie. A interesting idea as well, very sad as well to think that Mufasa didn't grab him in time...... But still interesting idea. Maybe you should draw another pic to add on maybe of Mufasa finding Simba dead maybe? Just a idea but great pic

At first I thought it would be Simba as a kind of an adult-host of what could be cause its looks much like him than Mufasa, but an interesting suggestion

the chin and his eyes, and the shape of his mane..is much closer to mufasa..he just look more rough than what people are used to when it comes to Mufasa. Just imagine that he has been beaten, got dirt, and sweat as he is down there trying to find simba. Making his mane look less Mufasa and more Simba.

I love this. Well...not the fact SImba is dead, but it's interesting to see it from this POV. I love Mufasa's expression, I can only imagine what he would look like once he found Simba.

Mufasa probably would have been so distraught, Scar could more easily grab power with Mufasa and Sarabi in mourning. Would be a very different story indeed, sort of a shattered glass, dark ending.
