Knowing the location of Clivia's cave entrance, Boiler teleported over and waited for Clivia to exit. He knew he had to settle with her if they were to remain friends. The incident with the potion that night had began to dull in his mind, and with the recent death of Blister, it was now time to fix this growing silence between them.

Clivia saw him on her way out, almost passed him by actually, but doubled back and waved the others on. Vana nodded to her, and then they left. All but Clivia's little sister, Lilya, who landed a short distance away and eagerly watched as Clivia walked up to Boiler who was sitting on a stone wall. Earlier that month she had asked Boiler to talk to Clivia when he was in the hospital, but he sent her away, dejected and depressed.

After what seemed an eternity to Lilya, Clivia hopped up on the stone wall next to Boiler's flickering lantern and spoke, "The potion that night was a fresh batch, and much too strong for mortals, and little vampires." She shot a glare down the road to Lilya, who promptly stuck out her tongue, and made a motion as if chugging a beer! Clivia frowned, but continued, "I should have remembered that. I'm sorry she left you, Boiler. I REALLY am, and I promise I'll find Hannah for you if you want!" She stopped talking and waited for him to answer.

Boiler paused, gathering his thoughts. Finally, he spoke. "She doesn't know Blister's dead, and she doesn't know about the potion. I want her to know he's dead so her and her mom can have a normal life again. Find her, if you can. Tell her, please! I've been on TV, and in the papers, but I have no idea where she is, or if she even knows!"

Clivia nodded and smiled at Boiler. He smiled back, and spoke, "It's okay, Clivia. I just...Eric...and Hannah! Well, it really threw me!" He reached over to hug Clivia and had almost put his arms around her when he was tackled from behind by an exuberant Lilya! "YOU'RE FRIENDS AGAIN!"
