Note: Reshaded the tree and fixed some words. An art gift for
I've draw that with follow her tutorial. At first I made the base color with mouse and take a lot of time. But when I got a tablet, things were become easier. I can shade and shadow the scene faster and able to create the texture.
Maybe it still got some problems when I following her art style. Can you find them out?
Also, it is a gift for her 300000 pageviews's celebration. I hope she don't mind of my very first try.
Photoshop CS4 isn't have a big difference between her CS2 in drawing method, just it support GPU acceleration and I don't have to wait it finish the post effect too long. Anyway, the native artwork's size is 1.75 GB, and it have 9783 x 13291 resolutions, aka 1200 dpi.
One more thing, when I gave it a look to my friend from Hong Kong, he said she looks like some kind of "wood elf", what do you think?
Total time to take:
2 hours for sketch
3 hours for lines fix
10 hours for coloring
6 hours for shading
2 hours for texture making
1 hours for post effect
...and done
Sketch made by Zebra DRAFIX DM5-300, Zebra DRAFIX DM9-300, ruler and black eraser to draw.

Thanks for you like it. I think I've never think about elf or else when drawing her. Maybe the scene, or Etoli's style make the look like some kind of fantasy stuff.
And with your comment, I should consider drawing a better version later.

Hmm, she does remind me of a wood elf. I like the colors you chose, and the shading.
You might be able to give it a bit more depth if you shaded the lower, farther parts of the foliage.

That part should be a problem to shade that, I think I haven't make a nice fading effect so it looks just a solid paint. I'll go fix it later.
