No problem! Aye it's a good choice, especially when the other option often spoken about was him keeping it in his hair or behind his ear. It's a great style choice and works fluidly with the animation.

How is animating in photoshop? Each frame is essentially a different layer, right? Or is there another way of doing it?

Photoshop has a video editing timeline. I assume he's doing all his frames and lining'em up in the timeline and then exporting.
