Description
I like the intensity of the movement in this one. Though it kinda tapers off into nothingness because I was unsure on how to resolve the action.All of these animations were done months ago, but I only release them now because they were part of a portfolio I submitted to apply to animation school. I was accepted! YAY!

Aww, thank you! Well, I can't judge your level of skill from your profile, but learning animation is primarily learning good draftsmanship. So definitely focus on that first if you're not satisfied with your drawing skills yet. Now with that being said, animation goes a long way in making you better at drawing in return, at least that's what I noticed. So its a circular process of improvement. Its extremely important to keep the volumes consistant for example, otherwise your character will look wonky, like they're constantly being deformed.
I go to university to learn animation, but what I definitely can say is that this level of animation can be achieved without formal training of any kind. This animation in particular was part of the portfolio I submitted when I applied for the animation course. So I did this without doing any professional course. I don't have all of them figured out myself, definitely having problems with squash and stretch, but I'd say what you really need are arcs, slow-ins/slow-outs and overlapping action/drag. If you don't want to overburden yourself with the others, definitely learn these three first (and I think solid drawing is also one but that goes without saying).
Also, yeah, I'd love to be a werewolf too, but life cant give you everything... at least as animators we can pretend to be werewolves when we animate them
