How to apply textures in Paint Tool SAIIt's my first time to make a tutorial, sorry for my bad english. This is more of a tutorial how I do it so sorry in advance if some of the techniques seem ineffective for you.
Here are my texture packs:
Ornate Patterns (lace, damask, etc) [link]
Here's another way to apply textures in SAI, which is easier in my opinion: [link]

after placing the .bmp files, did you click the START button (green box with arrow) to start SAI? because if you use the original icon for SAI, it won't update the setting for your SAI.

i deleted them because some anti-virus software detect the START button as virus. i will reupload sometime soon.

sorry for the late reply. are you sure you got the start button in the program files folder itself? plus i don't think this works with the trial version of SAI (if that's what you're using) also, the new textures won't work if you got more than 90 in your folders.

its alright, i figured out why it wouldnt work, its cos i had the textures in folders within the folder, but everything is working fine now

The start button thing doesn't make sense/doesn't work? I already have PT Sai?

it updates the configuration settings in your paint tool sai. you can also edit the configuration settings manually...the start button just make things easy and automatic.
after adding the textures, click START to open SAI. if you just click the original sai icon, the textures/brushes you added won't appear.

i mean, cut the start button from the folder and paste it alongside the sai button (not the shortcut), in the program files folder. =_= i can't tell what's the problem, really.
